As the Artexpo juried show will be celebrating its 40 years, Ms. Sullam will be unveiling her latest work of art, Bucky and Johnny’s Summer’s Love. The work is a statement about innocence, young love and the fragility of our inner and outer environment. The last day of the show falls on Earth Day – April 22 and the artist wants to celebrate and bring awareness of conservation.
Visitors who stop by the booth can enter to win an original work of art. JoAnne will be announcing the winner of an original work of art on Earth Day, Sunday April 22. Each day of the show will have winners, gifts include an autograph copy of her latest book and other art related goodies.
A wildlife rehabilitated author, conservationist, and founder of Daydreams Studio, JoAnne Helfert Sullam has dedicated her life and work to conservation.
JoAnne has received numerous accolades for her award-winning work. She is a recipient of a Special Congressional Recognition in the Arts. In addition, Ms. Sullam was featured in both the New York Times and Art Business News as well as being named “Who’s Who in America.”

Born in Brooklyn New York, JoAnne Helfert Sullam is a professional artist who specializes in animal and landscape art, an advocate for conservation, author, and producer who writes, lectures and films, about wild and domestic animals.
Ms. Sullam has donated her artwork and time to land and wildlife protection and has fostered and placed feral cats and unwanted dogs.
While exhibiting her fine art that focused on nature, Ms. Sullam, is also a licensed wildlife rehabilitator’s and works as an animal handler /consultant and has worked with academy award winning actress Melissa Leo, Jim Fowler of Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom, working on the Today Show and the Martha Stewart Living show alongside animal expert, Marc Morrone.
