Mark Halliday, of Southington Connecticut continues to strive as a leader of his community. Halliday, founder of the Veteran’s Coffee House at the Wallingford Senior Center along with Assisted Living Services. The group offers a gathering for veterans to meet monthly to socialize and hear from informative speakers.
One key goal of Halliday is to inform veterans on benefits they can receive to assist them and their family. Mark Halliday not only supports the veterans but the elderly as well. His newest state program called Connecticut’s Adult Living/Foster caregiver program makes in-home caregiving easier for families by providing financial support and training. Halliday mentioned how as a young adult he had quit his job to take care of his grandmother using his own resources.
“So many families are facing caregiving issues,” said Halliday.
Assisted Living Services, Inc and Assisted Living Technologies, Inc are based in Meriden, Connecticut with offices in Southington, Clinton and Glastonbury. The company has over 400 employees across Connecticut. Mark Halliday is a lifelong resident of Southington, CT, where he resides with his wife Sherry.
