A new independent artist is set to light up the charts with his new single Dear Momma Tender Love. Keon Gibson, from Northwest Indiana was a featured drummer in a series of drum sheds called “Mega Drum Shed”, racking up millions of views, and now it’s his turn to shine with his voice. Keon, has already been described as one of the most exciting new artists of 2018, with many believing this new Independent artist will be snapped up by one of the big labels once his new single Dear Momma Tender Love is officially released.
The 22-year-old singer songwriter who wants to change the face of music did not go down the route of America’s Got Talent and other talent shows, he wanted to be independent and choose his own style of music. Keon explained: ““I’m currently 22 years old; myself, along with my peers are preparing to change the face of the future. We are driven by music, pursuing a new sound and stepping away from what promotes negativity.” The singer along with his producer/manager Larry Jones (Uncle Larry) of MirralexMusic wants his music to inspire people, and give people a positive message. His debut single does just that.
Dear Momma Tender Love is a powerful yet inspiring song about the power of a mother’s love, and how their wisdom helps to develop and prepare for the future and what life has to bring. Keon’s voice on the single has been described as The Weeknd meets Chance the Rapper; delivering an inspirational message.
