Flixon Cinema contains movies, documentaries, comedies, sci-fi, dramas and TV shows packaged in over 250 hours of content which is refreshed monthly through its partnership with FilmHub.com.

The content is provided as part of its standard basic offering at no extra cost for all Flixon customers to enjoy.

Flixon is in extensive talks with other marketplaces and studios to further develop the Flixon Cinema module within its applications.

Video-on-demand (VOD) is becoming a huge part of daily viewing habits for many. Among those who watch any type of VOD programming, 43% say they watch at least once a day and 43% of all weekly viewing time is from on-demand Video, watching TV series, movies, and other programs which has increased 50% since 2010, the analysis found.

Today, the growth of VOD programming options where viewers can download or stream content from either a traditional TV package or an online source is creating extensive opportunities for consumers who have greater control than ever before over what they watch, when they watch and how they watch. And the number of self-reported VOD viewers is significant. Nearly two-thirds of global respondents (65%) in a Nielsen online survey in 61 countries say they watch some form of VOD programming, which includes long- and short form content. Not surprisingly, convenience is a very important factor in the decision to watch VOD programming. Among those who watch VOD, more than three-quarters of global respondents (77%) somewhat or strongly agree they do so because they can view content at a time that is convenient for them.
Two things were never truer than they are today: Content will always be king, and consumers will continue to demand greater control and customization of the viewing experience.
