New York City Event Venue 583 Park Avenue Celebrates 14th Anniversary

583 Park Avenue is celebrating their 14th Anniversary, which commemorates 14 years of success as a premier New York City event space. Since 2006 the Church located at 583 Park Avenue entered a 30-year lease agreement with The Rose Group, allowing them to hold events in the space in return for rental payments, percentage of profits, building’s taxes and utilities and capital improvements. After the Church received permission from the Department of Buildings to transform the space to be used as both a house of worship and social hall the Rose Group immediately began restoring the historic building. At a cost of just over $9.5 million to repair the landmark building, the church would have been in danger of falling into disrepair without the investment from the Rose Group. 14 years in business this is a huge milestone for the 583 Park Avenue, New York, NY, 10065-based Event Venue business. Author Releases Two Collections of Inspirational Poetry to Offer Hope, Encouragement and Faith to Empower Young Women

New York, – With the release of her two collections of inspirational poetry, New York author Nasheema Dixon is offering readers messages of hope, encouragement and faith to empower young women.

In “Dear You. I Dare You.” (Dear You,102 pp, $17), Dixon, a single mother based in Queens, says this is “a book of poetry that tells a story.”  Since she was a teenager, Dixon has loved writing poetry to express herself on paper. Once she became a mother, she realized she wanted to share her thoughts and ideas as a way to inspire others. With this book, she says, “It was originally written to empower first myself and then also young women like myself who may have experienced relatable stories. Life doesn’t come with directions and it certainly can get a little bumpy, however, another day living is a new opportunity for growth and correction.”

 

In “Dear You, Young Girl,” (Dear You, 26 pp, $10) Dixon is writing is a children’s version of her first collection. Dixon says, “I wanted to write a simple and encouraging long letter poem that would grow with her as she [my daughter] grows. Of course, just as I want her to be inspired, I wanted to also inspire other young girls as well. Hoping that it may even help prevent making the same mistakes some us women may have made if we only knew how special we really are.

  • Agencia Española del Medicamento y Productos Sanitarios (AEMPS) authorized yesterday the extension of the use of the RESPIRA device to 45 hospitals that conform the Sole ICU in Catalonia.
  • GPAINNOVA has started the manufacturing process of RESPIRA device and is able to supply more than 1.000 devices weekly to hospitals around the world.

Multinational company GPAINNOVA can now extend clinical trials to 45 hospitals that conform the Sole ICU of Catalonia, after receiving authorization from Agencia Española del Medicamento y Productos Sanitarios (AEMPS). The first clinical trial with patients affected with Covid-19 that is being carried out at Hospital Clínic is giving excellent results. From now on, the use of RESPIRA device can be extended to intensive care units of 45 hospitals in Catalonia that conform the named Sole ICU.

GPAINNOVA has already begun to produce these devices in order to respond immediately to the demand in hospitals. GPAINNOVA is already producing RESPIRA device, which can reach a production of 300 units per day. RESPIRA device has the support of specialized technologists as its main partner SIEMENS and also SMC, TEG and MAM to carry it out.

RESPIRA project has been developed under the supervision of Institut Català de la Salut (ICS) of catalonian Government with the participation of Hospital Clínic of Barcelona and Centre de Medicina Comparativa i Bioimatge del Institut de Recerca Germans Trias i Pujol – Can Ruti in Badalona, also with healthcare workers from Hospital de Sant Joan de Déu of Barcelona.

It has also had the support of Secretaría General de Industria y Pyme del Ministerio de Industria, Comercio y Turismo. RESPIRA project has been carried out following the guidelines of Agencia Española del Medicamento y Productos Sanitarios of the Ministry of Health.

This iPad App is helping to save lives after wide-spread COVID-19 pandemic

The CONCIERGEpad engineering team is pleased to announce new functionality for its iPad Visitor Management system to aid in identifying COVID-19 virus symptoms at Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Facilities and Schools around the Unites States.  The new functionality works by presenting any visitor, guest or even patient with a template questionnaire designed to flag individuals who may have been infected or in-contact with the COVID-19 virus based on answer choices.

The CONCIERGEpad app is programmed to be an almost “touchless” experience as the system can determine when there is a human “face” in front of the iPad.  As a result, the system can determine when someone is at the facility and if they have been there before by performing facial recognition.  In the event of an issue the system will immediately notify the administration.  “This pandemic will change the mindset of how people look at devices in terms of germs and sanitation.  Providing the community with a hands-free experience and still maintaining safety protocols is pivotal at these types of establishments, and perhaps this will be the new normal in terms of visitor management,” said a sales rep for CONCIERGEpad.  The only touchpoint at the current moment is answering the COVID-19 questionnaire but the CONCIERGEpad engineering team is writing new functionality for these questions and answers to be performed orally using speech-to-text technology.  This would then be a complete touchless workflow.
