Superhuman feats could see people living to 150-years old in the near future
South Jersey resident and business owner Steve Young recently appeared on the History Channel’s hit television series “In Search Of”. The show, hosted by Star Trek’s Zachary Quinto, is a revival of the original 1970s and 1980s series hosted by Leonard Nimoy. In the episode titled “Superhuman”, Young discussed the possibility of humans living to be 150-years old.
The episode, which originally aired on July 27th, looked into what it takes to complete superhuman feats of strength, endurance, and pain. Young spoke to Quinto about humans’ abilities to achieve feats that were at one time believed to never be possible. Young has recently held talks about humans living to be 150-years old, a feat that is currently believed to be superhuman.
“I was a sickly kid growing up,” Young said. “As I got older, I read books on health, mindset, and nutrition. This helped me create a plan and cure the problems I had as a youngster.”
Young is the owner of Body Solutions. The Voorhees-based business was designed to help with the health and well-being of its customers. Through physical therapy, fitness, massage, and holistic medicine, Body Solutions provides clients with information and guidance on how to live a long and prosperous life.
Born in 2002, Body Solutions has grown year over year. Young promotes an approach very different that the “take this drug for that symptom” philosophy.
“There are so few chemicals that are outlawed in the United States,” Young explained. “So much of the stuff people consume every day is harmful, yet no one knows it. By taking a more holistic approach, individuals can heal themselves of the problems they have.”
Young’s appearance on “In Search Of” not only allowed him to speak about superhuman feats, but it gave him the opportunity to talk to Quinto. A lifelong Star Trek fan, Young experienced the thrill of a lifetime by speaking with the man who most recently played Spock in the Star Trek film series.
“It was really cool to meet Spock,” Young laughed. “I’ve been a fan of Star Trek since I was a kid. I remember lying in bed sick watching the show. It feels good to now be in the position I am in and able to speak to Quinto about superhuman feats.”
