Pelyon Sourou, future King of Afropop, was born in Ivory Coast and comes from the country of honest men. It is said in his family that he was born under a good star hence his nickname “Pelyon” (born to shine, born to succeed) a very lucky child. Pelyon Sourou has a deep and undisputed love for African values and is very attached to his origins. He possesses a gift accented by music already very small. After several music training workshops, punctuated by sporadic learning of live, he decided to return to the studio in 2012.
Thanks to his artistic prowess and especially vocal, he becomes the darling of youth. His talent will therefore open the doors of the scene in the sub-region while entering inexorably into the big leagues. He participated in the Ouaga Hip Hip urban music festival in 2013; the caravan of the Holidays Dance urban dance competition in 2014; Festival feast of music 2014 etc…
Settled in Obama’s country since 2016, Pelyon Sourou is an artist who is very attached to African culture. He believes that everyone should be interested in and love their traditions and culture because one can develop only by one’s own culture and not by those of others. The world being an interplanetary village and especially with the accessibility to new technologies, we could not ignore the market opportunities from which it would be necessary to accommodate our way of doing and to see the requirements of the market.
Pelyon Sourou releases his new single Ginger Me on May 2018.
