Village Vets, a family owned veterinary practice has invested heavily in modern technology to help care for their patients. As part of that investment, Village Vets have installed full Abaxis diagnostic suites into all ten of their clinics.

Once again Village Vets has shown why they deserve to be known as one of the most respected veterinary practices in Ireland through showing their dedication in providing the best care for their patients by heavily investing in laboratory facilities.

This investment which has hugely benefited pets and their owners and allows for a better and more comprehensive service with a faster diagnostic turn around which can help to save lives.

The Abaxis Vetscan has become an important piece of equipment for practising vets. It allows the vets to gather information quickly on the pet’s internal organ function, which includes kidneys, liver, electrolyte panels etc. Having this information at hand in the shortest possible time can allow the vets to provide the right care in the shortest possible time allowing more pets lives to be saved.

Charles Cosgrave, MD of 10 veterinary clinics said ” We are dedicated to making lives better, that’s why Village Vets invests heavily in laboratory facilities to provide our clients with a first-class service. Our new equipment allows our vets to provide a faster diagnostic turn-around. Practising vets like accuracy and value and with this equipment, we have achieved that.”

Village Vets who are known for providing the best possible care for pets can now provide same-day results for many types of blood, urine and skin tests. An annual blood test is completely free with the Pet Health Plan.

The Pet Health Plan allows pet owners to save a great deal of money. It allows pets to receive the best possible care while at the same time saving the pet owner money. Included in the plan is unlimited free appointments, vaccinations including kennel cough, and regular flea treatment.
