Upcoming boy group Omega X is the new honorary ambassador of Jeju Island. Jeju Tourism Association have appointed the 11 members of Omega X (Jaehan, Hwichan, Sebin, Hangyeom, Taedong, Xen, Jehyun, Kevin, Junghoon, Hyuk, and Yechan) as the new ambassadors, according to the band’s agency Spire Entertainment on May 10.

According to the Jeju Tourism Association, Omega X received a letter of appointment as an honorary public relations ambassador of the Jeju Tourism Association this morning. Bu Dong Suk, the president of Jeju Tourism Association, congratulated the Omega X members and asked to “promote Jeju Island’s brand values.”

Over the next two years, Omega X will engage in promotional activities to raise awareness of Jeju Island and its natural attractions. “Jeju Island houses 3 UNESCO natural heritage sites. We will do our best to promote Jeju Island and all its beauty to the world with our music and performances,” Omega X said in their ambassadorship acceptance speech.

Boy Group Omega X Reveals Debut Trailer BTS In Their Reality Show

Upcoming boy group Omega X revealed what it’s like to debut as a K-pop idol group.

On May 5, Omega X dropped the fourth episode of “Loading – One More ChanX” (pronounced Chance) starring the 11 members – Jaehan, Hwichan, Sebin, Hangyeom, Taedong, Xen, Jehyun, Kevin, Junghoon, Hyuk, and Yechan–on its official YouTube channel and VLive.

Episode 4 took a behind-the-scenes look at Omega X’s debut trailer, revealed the members’ hopes and dreams for their debut stage, and showed the members enjoying the “flip the water bottle” challenge and fried chicken mukbang.

Starting with Hangyeom and ending with Yechan the 11 members took turns filming an individual debut trailer on stage filled with laser lighting. Each member showed off his self-choreographed solo,while the rest of them sat back and monitored the performance. In the following group dance, the 11 Omega X members showed perfect teamwork and threw their hat into the ring for a second chance in K-pop.

Later during the water bottle flip challenge, Hwichan, Xen and Kevin plotted against the rest in the hopes to feed them mint chocolate flavored fried chicken. With Xen’s success in flipping the water bottle, the Omega X members won fried chicken, although they came in unexpected flavors such as mind chocolate, chocolate and mango.
