Abiff Productions digital marketing and production company created by Donat Rickett

0

Abiff Productions is a digital marketing and production company created by Donat Ricketts aka Shawn Turner in 2013. We specialize in providing services to independent artists who want to maintain ownership of their intellectual property while selling it to Hollywood’s private sector. We write executive summaries, develop intellectual property, and taking care of all production and post-production needs for content to be distributed by yourself and other(s) on the internet, the television and film mediums.  Our services are premised on stories and characters that are controversial, politically, and socially conscious.

Service #1: Write Your Executive Summary

Actors and Producers (“Talent”) are often more artistic than they are business savvy. Therefore, we will write your executive summary, keeping your true vision in mind whilst figuring out how to carve your own niche in Hollywood’s private sector enterprise. With our market research we will help you define a tailored audience to convince any executive that your intellectual property is valuable using the same exact system, knowledge, statistics and resources that Hollywood experts use for publishing power.

Service #2: Develop Your Intellectual Property (“IP”)

Having trouble defining your expression? No worries, with a polished executive summary we will set forth guidelines for you to pitch your materials while staying true to your meaningful elements. Often, once you have a clear understanding of your IP, you’d know how to protect the expression while legally using hundreds of ideas from your favorite film or television series to build your own enterprise.

Service #3: Pre-production

Once you know the value of your IP you may opt-into a diverse team of writers. Abiff Productions has a list of writers ranging from Harvard graduates to people who will help you conceptualize ideas, themes, and plot points from raw experience. We’d also help you register your materials with the U.S. Copyright Offices and provide you exceptional advice to prevent sharks from stealing your IP. We’re also be able to point you to domestic and international sources that are eager to “license” independently owned content.

Service #4: Production (“Filming”)

We will help you find the perfect locations, Director, Cinematographer, Sound Mixer, Make-Up Artist and so forth. We can help with drafting talent agreements, outsourcing talent, hiring production staff, finding grip trucks, and production equipment in the state of New York, California, Florida and Georgia.

Service #5: Post-Production

Need help with post-production? We got you covered! Often, independent artists use their entire budget during the production stage and have little to no money to finance post-production. This leads to self-doubt, and incompetence. However, we will help you outsource some of the best and most affordable editors, sound mixers, colorist and special effect artists to beautify flaws in your artwork.

Service #6: Social Media Campaign (“Distribution”)

Although we do not provide distribution services, we have a working knowledge of harnessing the power of social media and working with a tight budget to ensure that every penny spent is towards a tailored audience.

How an uncelebrated producer’s free music samples make it into platinum albums!

0

In the late 2019, a new wave shook Looperman.com (a website widely used by producers), that wave is called Makalo. The name of an uncelebrated producer, unknown to the mainstream media, yet whose works are widely used by mainstream artists worldwide. Artists (rappers and singers) who have used the works of Makalo are Young Thug, DDG, Pop Smoke, Nav and international sensations such as Killa Fonic, Gilli, Branco and many others.

Makalo himself says that it bothers him when people use royaltyfree samples and do not contact the creator, but also says that they mostly do and also grant him royalty shares as well. One case where he did not get officially credited is the case of Young Thug in the song called “Millions”. Makalo says that him and his team have filed complains and that it is an ongoing process yet to be resolved.

“I’m really shocked at the rate of placements I get”, says Makalo and continues:

“I started uploading samples 6 months ago and I’ve already made it into platinum albums and have gotten tens of placements with famous rappers and singers. I was on the verge of totally quitting music because things were kind of idle for me. That’s when I decided to just express all of my emotions through my sound samples and people kind of picked up on that i guess.”

Makalo says that he’s been around music his whole life through his father Esad, who was a drummer and the lead person of a band. His older brother, MC Damiro is also a singer in the Balkans.

“I’ve been there and done that, my father always wanted us to be something in the music industry. I accompanied him to the largest labels and studios in the Balkans when I was a small kid, so I’ve grown up on it.”

Producers are now sending him messages every day, more than he can respond. Makalo says that he hopes that producers like him get more cred and that they should be talked about more often:

“We are changing hip hop, I mean, we are the ones who dictate what is trendy and what is not. The rappers are merely using our tools. Artists need us and vice versa, otherwise you would only have vocal songs and beats topping the charts.” Makalo laughs and adds:

“No, but you get the point.”

COVID-19 – UAE Central Bank’s package supports economy

0

COVID-19 – The UAE Central Bank recently more than doubled the size of the stimulus package for the economy, to deal with the current crisis, while also allowing banks and finance companies to extend the deferment of both principal and interest repayments until the end of the year.

The reserve requirement for demand deposit has also been halved, from 14 to 7 per cent.

This was stated by Mahmood Ahmadu, Chairman of Fintech Solution, during an exclusive interview with Gulf Today, adding that the emphasis is on increasing liquidity in the financial sector and we strongly believe that agile solutions, such as the ones Fintech companies are facilitating, will play a critical role in the expanding the flow of this influx of capital, throughout the entire economy.

Talking about the local market, Ahmadu underscored the positive impact that the ease of money transfer, currency exchange and P2P lending, which Fintech facilitates, is likely to have in the wake of the UAE central bank’s sizable Covid-19 stimulus package.

In contrast to what has been the norm for decades in developed economies, a huge section of the developing world’s population is still underserved by traditional banking mechanisms, with the recent Covid- 19 crisis acting as a dark reminder of the ramification of this disparity.  Although great strides have been made in this regard in recent years – particularly in India, South East Asia, Brazil and some other South American nations – universal global financial inclusion remains an unattained goal.

In this context, the case for Fintech solutions that facilitate electronic transfer of funds, provide basic insurance cover, and extend micro loan facilities, is compelling. For instance, mobile banking, crowdfunding and P2P lending, make it possible for rural innovators and entrepreneurs, in the remotest of areas, to establish small community oriented enterprises. Skilled as well as unskilled workers are able to look for more lucrative employment, further away from home, empowered by quick and easy money transfers to their dependants.

According to the 2017 Global Findex Database issued by the World Bank in April 2018 – which is the most recent version of this report – marginally over two-thirds of the population in the MENA region are unbanked. More than 60% of the UAE’s current working population is outside the traditional banking system because such institutions find it difficult to work with customers earning less than Dh 5,000 per month.

The UAE’s large low income expatriate worker population sends regular remittances to their countries of origin, and Fintech is emerging as the best avenue to service their needs.   Ahmadu, Chairman of Fintech solution provider Innovate 1 Pay – which has operations in 24 different nations and trading in over 60 – spoke about some of the advantages Fintech solutions have over traditional banking, in servicing some of these niche needs for the unbanked and marginalised communities.

“Expat remittances from the UAE were around Dh165 billion in 2019”, said Ahmadu. “These funds stimulate considerable economic activity in the worker’s home countries, so easing this process goes beyond simply facilitating the individual. What’s also significant is that, in recent years, a greater proportion of these funds have been transferred through exchange houses and Fintech solutions, as compared to traditional banking channels”.

“These services are even more significant currently, given the huge economic disruption that the Covid-19 pandemic has unleashed. The infusion of these remittances can be the difference between resilience, and the total collapse of a remote community in the current situation, literally a matter of life and death”, he added.

BankOnIP Announces New Intellectual Property Offering THE KNOWPAKTM™

0

Stilwell, KS – April 24, 2020 – BankOnIP, a leading intellectual property broker, announced today the KNOWPAK™. KNOWPAK™ is a personal environmental testing kit for evaluating conditions in specific locations. The pack is composed of various testing strips/swabs that are used for collecting data from biological and environmental, elements, uploaded directly to users’ mobile devices into the KNOWPAK™ app. The data is analyzed, recorded and sent to the KNOWPAK™ database.

The database contains many factors, including GPS locators, for recording the location of the testing and comparing it with previous testing results. This information can be made available for anyone who is concerned with questionable results gathered from testing in a specific area. KNOWPAK™ is a way for everyone to be aware of what is in their surroundings, even on a personal level.

With KNOWPAK™, users will become active agents in identifying environmental and potentially related personal health issues on a local, regional, national and global scale, giving the general public long overdue power, control and influence over the state of the environment. Through the widespread emergence of Knowpak’s educational and crowdsourcing efforts, a first-ever global toxicity index will empower a new era of environmental accountability and transformation.

PRODUCT FEATURES & BENEFITS

Special Features

• Simple, easy to use test strips and swabs

• Can detect toxins in food, water, air and self

• Convenient kit packets are small and portable

PRODUCT DETAILS

KNOWPAK™ is a system for analyzing, storing and enabling access to collected biological or environmental test data. The kit consists of a group of testing supplies for individuals to assess

the level of toxins in their personal environment. Food, water, air, and self-testing supplies are provided in each pack. Sticks and swabs are used for testing the preferred element, results are scanned by mobile phone, smartwatch, etc., and sent to a database. The database collects the results, places them with similar data, and compares values. The location of the testing is recorded by GPS, and entered into a global system that shows the data instantly. This data can be accessed by any user.

The swabs and sticks used for testing can be manufactured for specific target areas and personal health assessments, and customized packs can be assembled. Standard packs will hold supplies for four different fields. All packs include the scanning elements (bar codes and QR codes), and all packs can be used with the KNOWPAK™ app for sending data, accessing comparisons, and monitoring levels. Scanning can be done with a mobile phone, a tablet, smartwatch or other scanning device.

Scanning the codes on pre-packaged products will let others know exactly what specific products were tested, and whether or not they are safe to consume. This enables individuals to know more about what toxins are present in their food and water and take steps to eliminate those items from their home.

Users scan and input data into the app, creating a personal map of their air, food and water findings. This information is pooled into a central database. Communities can compare their results to make sure their environment is safe. This would be a great project for schools in a specified area. They could all do environmental tests and compare results. If a problem is detected, authorities could be notified. KNOWPAK™ will be offered as a basic testing kit, such as food and water, but also will have the option of being customized. Some of the other testing venues may require adding adapters (testing supplies and software) to the KNOWPAK™ products.

Materials needed to produce KNOWPAK™:

Top Life Lessons to Learn from Eli Dangerfield, Young 21 year old millionaire eCommerce Entrepreneur

0

Ecommerce and online shopping is clearly one of the fastest-growing industries in the world, and as you can imagine, many young people are cashing in heavily from this budding opportunity, some banking multiple millions. One of these young people is 21 year old Australian entrepreneur, Eli Dangerfield (https://www.instagram.com/elidangerfield), who is now a millionaire eCommerce expert. Born in August 1998, he started his eCommerce business at the young age of just 17, and made his first million dollar income at 21 years old. Now making a living from his laptop, working from anywhere in the world, just by selling simple products online, he now makes up to $300K every month. Some days he’s made as much as $20K in a single day. He is doing so well for his age, that he was awarded the highly acclaimed ‘2 Comma Club’ Award from ClickFunnels, a leading online business community that recognises the achievements of entrepreneurs like Eli.

If you are an aspiring, already successful or struggling entrepreneur, Eli has graciously shared some valuable life lessons that can help guide you into becoming a successful entrepreneur coming into the year 2020 and beyond.

Your past doesn’t have to shape your future

Whether you are from a poor or middle-class background, this doesn’t really matter in today’s age of opportunity. Eli was born into a lower-middle-class family in Adelaide, Australia. Eli’s mother was a teacher while his father is currently a carpenter/labourer, so money was never in abundance during Eli’s upbringing. When he was a little child, his mother suffered a terrible car accident, which shocked his world. Due to this accident, which almost took his mother’s life, she could no longer work to help support the family, and this made life incredibly harder for the family, relying on one below-average annual income. This didn’t stop Eli from pursuing his dream of being an eCommerce entrepreneur though. Despite his poor background, Eli wanted to become rich and successful, and this was what he focused on to begin his own business. Therefore, your background is not an excuse at all. In the case of Eli Dangerfield he has proven that anyone can accomplish anything.

You are never too young to chase your dreams

Age is nothing but a number; you can be anything you want to be. It is never too early  on in life to begin chasing your dreams. Everyone would like to feel young and rich, right? That’s what fuelled Eli to get started in business. At the age of just 14, Eli’s goal was to be a boss. In fact, during his school days, he began a series of business ventures, which include running a tongue-in-cheek YouTube channel and buying to resell a variety of different products on eBay. At 17, he started selling his internationally acclaimed watch brand, Elmore Lewis (https://www.elmorelewis.com/, which has been sold in thousands to over 24 countries. Coming from a poor background, he knew he could not remain poor, and he had to change his family status. This drives him early into the entrepreneur path, and he is doing so well and taking good care of his family.

There will always be challenges in business

If there is one thing that is common in the entrepreneur journey, it is a series of challenges. How you handle these challenges matters a lot to your growth process and your success. At a point when his business was going smoothly, something happened that brought him back to square. It was around the beginning of 2017. The challenge came in the form of chargebacks, and this almost ruined his whole business. What is a chargeback? This is when a customer purchases an item online, and when the item is delivered, the customer calls the bank to claim that he/she did not authorise the purchase. This makes the bank to take back the money sent for the payment. This usually results in a significant net loss to the seller. Multiple chargebacks can completely disrupt a business and put the business owner in huge debts. While Eli was battling with chargebacks on Shopify, he was also faced with an overdue bill from the Facebook ads platform, causing him significant stress.

At this point, he felt like his whole world was crashing, and he was losing everything he had worked so hard for. However, Eli did not give up. To cover up his debts, he started freelancing as a photographer and a videographer for brands. In a couple of months, Eli was able to clear off his debts on Shopify and Facebook. He soon revived his e-commerce business, coming up with designs and strategies that helped him bounce back. By the end of 2017, his Elmore Lewis watches business began to thrive again and started gaining significant momentum.

Nothing is stopping you from being an eCommerce millionaire as well

You may be wondering if you can also be successful as an e-commerce entrepreneur. Yes, you can. In fact, Eli is currently committed to helping other people succeed in the e-commerce market. After noticing that there seems to be a massive gap for authentic, actionable information to help people succeed within this field, he started his “Six Figure Brand Accelerator,” which is a top e-commerce training program.

One of Eli’s top students is Teddy Briggs. From being drowned in debts, Teddy has grown to be financially stable, making over $60,000 per month, since becoming Eli’s student and mentee. In fact, Teddy recently bought a C63s AMG sports car from income earned from e-commerce.

It has become one of Eli’s primary life goals to help people across the world become financially stable and successful from the e-commerce business. He is committed to providing e-commerce entrepreneurs, whether aspiring or not, with the best training, tools, assets, resources, and support to help them grow and succeed. With this training program, you can learn how to not only survive in the eCommerce space, but thrive, and potentially become as successful as Eli, or even more so when you work hard. If you want to follow Eli’s journey, follow him on Eli Dangerfield’s Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/elidangerfield
