We Need Your Protective Wear – Help Us Save Lives in the Coachella Valley California

 

We need your protective wear!

Help us protect our local medical professionals, health care providers, first responders, grocery stores, restaurant employees and other industries that will be there for us during these difficult and challenging times. We must take action now and not procrastinate to help prevent the spread of the Coronavirus epidemic in our communities.

My name is Mario Hernandez, owner of Mario’s Tilecare Company and Founder of Desert United luncheons in the Coachella Valley.

We have a call For Action!

We need your help now. I’m asking all local contractors and services providers to join us and our efforts to donate their N-95 respirators mask and any safety latex gloves they have in their storages, warehouse or place of work to protect our first responders like our Doctors and Nurses and others that need our help now!

Mario’s Tilecare Team will be responsible and volunteer our time and company vehicles to pick up the donated protective wear at our local Home Depot’s located in Indio, La Quinta, Rancho Mirage, and Palm Springs locations. We will pick up daily or when needed and deliver them to those locations that are priorities in the Coachella Valley.

Effective Immediately:

Contractors or anyone that wants to donate, drop off your protective wear at the Pro-Desk departments inside Home Depot between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm, Monday through Sunday. We will be delivering them starting with our three local hospitals in Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage, and Indio.

Our mission and goal is to lead by example and duplicate this volunteer effort and request in other cities throughout United States and possibly other countries as well. I’m in discussions with upper management of Home Depot asking them for their full participation and partnership to have all of their 2200 locations as a drop off point for contractors to donate their protective wear at all locations to help with this huge crisis that we are currently experiencing throughout the United States and other countries.

By encouraging donations of protective wear and volunteering, we can all take on the responsibility to help our local communities and make a positive difference and protect our loved ones as they all need to be safe and healthy.

Please help us with these efforts and let’s show our gratitude to everyone that is providing their services for us and our families. They take a risk everyday with this Coronavirus epidemic and we must be there for them.

If we respond with faith, love, compassion and the concern to help others with our good will in these difficult times, I have no doubt that we can conquer what lies ahead, but we must stay united as we create the solutions to achieve our goals.

For those of us that have children and grandchildren, let’s not forget that they will be looking up to us to see how we respond to this major crisis. If we handle things the right way, they will learn from us on how to stay calm and take action to make a positive difference in their own community by helping others and being part of the solution to make things better.

I’m grateful to have the support of my team to help me get the word out by launching a national marketing campaign that will hopefully encourage Home Depot and possibly other large companies throughout the United States to utilize all of their locations for those that want to donate protective wear.

I have personally reached out to our local government and city officials with the hopes to discuss the distribution of the protective wear that we will be collecting and determine the priorities of those that need the protective wear first and get them in their hands as soon as possible.

I hope that this effort will go viral and be duplicated in other areas so that contractors throughout the United States can drop off donated protective wear at designated locations throughout the United States. We believe that Contractors and others will feel safer to drop off donated supplies at our local Home Depot locations instead of hospitals in fear that they might get the virus. I hope that other large companies hear about our efforts and also want to help as a drop off point.

You then checkout with paypal, and the stores ship LEGO direct to you!” Jenkins had said most Mini sets can be procured for less than $10 on bricklink, while the full size sets will most likely cost between $15-30 – depending on where you purchase from.

“I have always loved fighter jets – and some of my best childhood memories involve going to the Cleveland Air Show with my Dad. I am very excited about the potential of BLOCK Jets, and hope others will enjoy building these sets,” Jenkins said.
