NAHSA began the arduous task of building a database of America’s hotlines, helplines, text chat and web chat services with the assistance of many hardworking volunteers.
Once work began, it became clear that the task ahead was going to be a challenge. As of the date of this press release, NAHSA has added 30,000 hotlines and helplines to our database.
The lack of a directory of hotline and helpline services was not particularly obvious to the NAHSA founders until they learned of the passing of H.R.2345 – 115th Congress (2017-2018). This new, bipartisan United States Law mandated that that the FCC must allocate for use to all people residing in the United States: “…a simple, easy-to-remember dialing code for use as a national suicide prevention and mental health crisis hotline system [as it] would be in the strongest interests of individuals requiring the assistance furnished by prevention and crisis hotlines…” Without a doubt, this Law is a huge step forward for the hotline industry, However, NAHSA founders were concerned that the scope of the Law was too limited, since it addressed only a few areas of support which hotlines provide. The Law excludes hundreds of other categories of hotlines, which would also benefit from an “easy-to-remember dialing code.”
It was for this reason that NAHSA set out to build a free and easy to access directory of all (as many as possible) hotline and helpline phone numbers that could be found. The primary NAHSA mission is to make this directory easily accessible by people in need of hotline and helpline services. Kristinn Spence the former candidate in the municipal elections Reykjavik in 2018 and multi tech entrepreneur agreed to give us more details of the story behind what he claims happened to him a few years ago after police allegedly injected him with insulin multiple times.

So lately you have been in the news but for something else than your usual tech endeavors but for accusing the police in your country, Iceland, of almost killing you after arresting you for unknown reasons when you called them to lodge a complaint and file charges after receiving murder threats am I, right?
K
Yes well it’s quite the story actually
H
This is quite shocking and must-have been a terrifying experience for you
K
Yes truly I had severe anxiety for months after the incident and I still sometimes think back but not as much as it’s been a few years
H
And you said on Facebook that you were being accused of owing taxes for a company that you owned and after that happened you started to get threats or what how did it escalate?
K
Well it was like this in 2010 I was 18 and started a company that did electronic repairs and websites and data security after some time the company didn’t work out then my brother got into security through his friends and brought me in on it and we made a security company providing general staff and guards and fillers for security all over the place but then after a few years after we had been doing pretty good and grossed about 100 million each year on paper then suddenly the tax comes knocking and asks about a missing 80 million or 90 and there is this huge investigation and I get taken in and they say they are researching many companies and that someone tipped them off about a possible fraud or tax scheme and I just had no idea what was up or down this was even after the company went bankrupt and I was almost broke after it but later it all got cleared up supposedly or I thought so at least but then I hear that it is going to go to to courts and my brother got a big debt after this and I got around 10 million in debt so there I was thinking it was all finished but then started to get death threats and i didn’t get to shook by it but them when I was walking a car started to drive past me with a very spooky man and he stared me down and drove past me when I walked and then he drove past me again and it was night and I was walking in the dark so I got a little panicky and called the cops because of the threats I had been getting and was going to make a complaint and we’ll the cops came but then I heard one of the cops talk on the phone asking “is he rather fat and with a beard” and then they put me in the cop car and I was just like damn what is going on and jokingly asked if they were corrupt cops when one responded well at least not me and smiled

Wow, so you heard the cops confirm your identity over the phone to someone else before you were arrested?
K
Yes as I said then there was this old short police officer that was on the phone talking to someone right before he was with gray hair
H
And then what happens?
K
Well they take me into the police car and drive me to the downtown police station where they bring me inside and I ask them why I am being arrested and I asked to see the police chief working that night because this was so strange and then they told me he was going to come and told me to sit down on some bench and I refused and said I would only sit down after I would feel less anxious and before I know it this young officer starts yelling at me and threatening me and I still refused to sit down so he thrusts me in the air and makes me land straight on my chest where he locks me in the floor as I was in great pain I let lose a few yells of pain and that must have alerted some of the other members inside the police station because as the officers from the scene held me down the 2 young guys and the old guy from before but I also notice one swat member in the door of the room that was in swat which is a whole other division of the police and the old guy seems to be getting something and I see him with something pointy and then I see it’s an epipen and I yell what are you doing why are you going to inject me with something and I notice he looks kinda shook that I noticed and yells back I’m not injecting you with anything and the officers tell me just stay still for a few seconds until we can remove your cuffs
But then I see that he moves from the rear and in front of the sightline of the swat officer in the door and injects me a dozen times in both left and right wrists but more in the right one and then he takes my cuffs off as If that was the intention and then he commands the younger guys to take me to the elevator because it was the same one’s as took me in and they follow his orders and take me to the elevator and then to a cell and tell me to go to sleep, at this moment I couldn’t believe what was happening I was so shocked and this was so surrealistic that I just couldn’t believe that it really happened and then after 30 minutes I started to feel bloodless and tingly which is a typical symptom of the body responding to something and we’ll I was pretty sure it was insulin since it makes your blood sugar drop very low and in the end, you end in a shock or collapse So I remember quickly how these guys on animals shows get poison out from their bodies after they get bit by snakes or something like that and I just put my mouth at the injection site and start sucking when my mouth fills with the most disgusting taste I have ever felt and it made me literally puke everything I had inside my stomach but I didn’t stop until every drop was out of both wrists even though the chemical taste was horrible and I kept puking after this I felt that some of the chemicals even made it to my bloodstream so I had to keep adrenaline in my body so that my body would not go into shock or get hyperglycemia and did that for 12 hours by constantly keeping on the move inside the cell and not stopping I also did study a lot of biology and microbiology for fun and medicine as well so I knew the half life of most insulin and that is what kept me going and the thought of my daughter newer seeing her father again it drove me to live.

Wow, so you think this was intentional or that they injected you by accident?
K
Well, there is a possibility of both but this whole thing was just somehow off.
H
So after this happened and you obviously lived what happened then?
K
So here is the detailed story as well where to start after the cops came and tried to make it seem I was nuts and started to say that they were going to take me to a doctor and I was like no I refuse there is no way, I realized their intentions and knew they had max 24 hours to hold a person on no basis but they convinced me to do it and wow I was really frightened they would just drive me to the next ditch after that but they didn’t so they took me to a doctor and the doctor didn’t speak a word in Icelandic and was from Poland which was quite odd and as I was an avid researcher of biology then I knew all of the doctors working in that ward and I even asked for a doctor I knew and the cops guarded me heavily and even had me chained and refused but sent in the polish doctor and I had never seen or heard of him working in that hospital or ward.
After this they started to ask me questions and then they wrote something completely different on the paper, I asked to see the paper but was refused but the doctor muttered something that was nothing like I said and he tried to make me seem as crazy as possible, after this, I was let go from the police but they said I should stay in the hospital for a day or 2 and forced me to sign a document that would make me stay in the hospital.
After the cops went away I got a hold of a doctor that I knew and they just immediately said I could go home and there was nothing wrong with me which I knew.
After all this, I was seriously shaking and took some time off from everything and then went public with it to Interpol, the European Union and many other major players that safeguard human rights along with providing wiki leaks and others with data including the identities of the police officers which I later discovered through common friends in the Icelandic police department for safeguarding just in case along with my full video testimony.
Now years later there have been major strange events that have happened in the last years as I got a ruptured appendix and tried to have it removed in governmental hospitals all over Europe even showing the ct scan image to doctors that clearly shows the appendix inflammation and has been confirmed by us based surgeon and even mild perforation but always get denied to have It removed until I actually paid for it myself in a private hospital and I have sent numerous letters to the consulate and the government requesting justice and response to my accusations and even aid in getting medical help where I just want peace and that I am not asking for a public fiasco but that is a way that can be taken as well, I mean today I am already a fairly public figure and well respected in my industry and have experience under my belt on how to manage problems peacefully and people know for sure that my word is powerful but I don’t consider myself a threat to my county because I have no hard feelings for my country even if the police are part of the system then you can’t control rogue people like that and I realize that but you can always make peace and head separate ways but being sick has been holding me back and making me having a hard time letting go of the past and live to the fullest i mean it’s impossible to work like this or focus fully on a project and the government basically just keeps making it look like nothing happened even more so, also my house was broken into and a lot of data was stolen but I had backups and they only got one hard drive and now i have bodyguards and armed guards in my home after the intruders but the intruders left everything else as it was even my money and wallet which was on the table was left untouched so yeah this is strange but i am tired of this silence and the world should know about this and be able to make their own opinion about this and show support.
