New 2018 Garden Furniture Range Launched

New 2018 Garden Furniture Range Launched

Spring is on its way, which means summer is to follow, longer days, warmer weather and the chance to get out and enjoy the great outdoors a bit more, or at least your garden.  These days many of us are looking on our gardens as outdoor living areas where we can relax, perhaps entertain and maybe even do some work and Andrew Ellis of Poshh has some tips:

“Forget the division between home and garden”

Andrew Ellis says “For years, homes and gardens have been thought of as attached but separate and to a certain extent that’s understandable but just as many people like to bring the outdoors in, with house plants and items made from natural materials, so you can take the best of the indoors outside and literally treat your garden (or conservatory or even balcony) as an extension of your living room.  Interior design principles often apply perfectly well to gardens, although of course, you’ll need to adapt your actual choice of plants to your local environment, your weather and soil.”

“Merge indoors and out through your choice of furniture”

“Garden furniture has come a long way over the years” says Andrew Ellis, “It used to be that plastic and metal were really the only options for outdoor furniture.  They can be good options, but these days many people prefer outdoor furniture made out of natural materials.  Rattan and teak outdoor furniture is particularly popular as it is not only attractive and long-lasting, but also very environmentally-friendly and sustainable, which is becoming increasingly important to the modern customer.  Here at Poshh, what we look for is outdoor furniture which is robust enough to cope with the Great British weather, but smart enough that you’d be happy to use it indoors and, of course, functionality is a must.  This was the driving force behind new garden range of rattan and teak wood furniture for 2018, which comes with a best price guarantee, if you can find the same for less, we’ll give you an extra 20% off.

“Never underestimate the importance of the right seating”

“If you think about indoors,” Andrew Ellis continues, “you almost certainly have different kinds of seats for different purposes.  A cosy armchair is great for relaxing and reading but not necessarily for eating, whereas a dining chair might be perfect for eating a meal at a table but not for curling up in front of the TV.  Outdoor seating is just the same and you may find that you’re best to have a mix of different types of seating for different purposes.  Of course, if you have the space, daybeds and loungers are the ultimate in outdoor luxury and being in one is a wonderful way to spend time outside when the weather is fine.”

“A good outdoor table is a great investment”

“As with seating,” Andrew Ellis goes on “you have different tables for different purposes and if you have space and budget you might have different kinds of table too, but if you can only have one then it’s important to think about how you’re going to use it.  Picnic tables probably offer the greatest versatility for the space they occupy because you can use them not just for eating but for outdoor play (for grown-ups as well as children) or proper work.  Bistro tables are a good option for when space is tight, they are great for enjoying light meals and have enough space to be useful for other purposes, whether it’s holding a drink and your next book or using your laptop.

“Heating can extend the usefulness of your outdoor space”

“If you like to cook outdoors”, says Andrew Ellis, “think about locating your cooking area so it can also double as a heating area.  Firebowls and chimneas in particular are not only great ways to cook but also give off useful heat and look very attractive too.  Alternatively you could invest in an outdoor heater.  Either of these options (or both together) can help you to keep enjoying your outdoor space, even when temperatures drop.  With the right heating, you can really make the most of your garden space all year round, even in winter, when there can be some days when it’s absolutely wonderful to be outdoors – as long as you’re protected against the cold.

MARIJUANA ENTREPRENEURS FILM DOCUMENTARY OF CORRUPTION IN LAS VEGAS MARIJUANA INDUSTRY AMIDST LEGAL BATTLE

A group of Nevada based Entrepreneurs are set to release Green Gold, a raw docu-series that captures a behind the scenes look at Nevada’s Marijuana Industry and the surrounding corruption that continues to plague the tourist destination. The director, Nathaniel Turner paints a vivid picture of the pursuit of the new-age American Dream as he fights through the politics and corruption in this booming yet premature industry.

Green Gold captures the preliminary stages of a local Las Vegas medical marijuana dispensary while simultaneously following the road to protecting locals 2nd Amendment right as it pertains to the use of recreational marijuana and right to bare arms, which is federally prohibited. The Documentary also covers the operations along with the research and business development of the company from the initial licensing purchase to the influencing politics in the cities nightlife.

Turner also reveals his current court proceedings with Jody A Ghanem (widow of Famed Doctor Elias Ghanem Sr.) under Clark County’s Ghanem vs. Wellness Connection of Nevada LLC to protect their interest in the local dispensary, which prior to a regulatory board being put in place to oversee these transactions, has affected their ownership percentage owed to them from a 2015 purchase.

As Green Gold continues to garner attention from film industry executives, Turner plans on releasing the docu-series at film festivals throughout the country within the year.

About the Green Gold Docu-series

Tales of Greed, Extortion, and a new tantalizing industry that is causing a series of newly implemented regulations, Green Gold uncovers the journey of a dispensaries’ licensing acquisition and determination to open its doors. Las Vegas proves to be open to anything as long as it helps to maintain its crown as entertainment capital of the world. We watch as director, Nathaniel Turner, pursues the new American Dream amidst his legal battle for his ownership in a local dispensary. In addition, as Las Vegas redefines the purity and potency of the golden standard of marijuana along with the way it’s delivered to the consumer, they finalize their introduction of ‘jar service’ being the nations first prominent cannabis consumption lounge.

Spring is gently making its way towards us and that’s the traditional time to give houses a deep clean and maybe an update too.  If you’re looking to give your bathroom a bit or an updated or maybe even thinking about remodeling your house completely and moving the bathroom or adding another one, then Sam Cassidy of Steamshowerstore has some tips for you.

His first tip is: “Think about what you want first, then look at what you have and see how to bridge the difference.” He goes on: “That’s the opposite of a lot of traditional advice, which is to start with what you have and see what you can do with it.  That made complete sense in the old days when the state of technology often limited what you could do with existing features unless you had an absolutely huge budget, but now there are many more possibilities open to people in ordinary homes with ordinary budgets so rather than just assuming you’ll basically have to make do with what you have, try looking into the options for getting what you actually want.  You may find yourself pleasantly surprised.”

His second tip is: “Ask yourself if you really need a full bath or any sort of bath.  I understand that many of us, myself included, like the idea of being able to soak in a bath every now and again, but baths take up a lot of floor space all the time so are you really prepared to sacrifice that bathroom space for something you’re only going to use on the odd occasion?  It’s important to think about the bigger picture, for example, if you switch out that bath for a shower, you can use the space for storage and that in turn may be enough to free up space somewhere else in your home for a comfortable home office you will use every day.”

His third tip is “Don’t be intimidated by the thought of making changes to plumbing.  One of the most exciting developments in bathroom technology is the vast improvements to electric showers which have been largely pioneered by a company called Vidalux with their Pure E range.  Their products mean that you can install a good shower anywhere you can get a cold-water feed and that in itself can eliminate the need to move plumbing or vastly reduce the cost if you do decide you want to place your bathroom somewhere without any plumbing whatsoever.”

His fourth tip is “Make life easy for yourself with a shower cabin.”  He continues “Maybe I should have made this my first tip, because it can really save people a lot of money and hassle and improve the appearance of their bathroom.  The first big advantage of shower cabins is that they are completely self-contained so you don’t need to tile around them and you don’t need to bother about fixing the leaks which are just part and parcel of running a traditional shower.  If you get a good-quality shower cabin, such as the ones sold by Vidalux, it will be really easy to install and it will look good too.”

His fifth and final tip is “Remember that shape and texture can add interest to small bathrooms without overwhelming them.  Even larger bathrooms tend to be small rooms compared to the rest of the home and the smallest bathrooms and cloakrooms can be really tiny.  Most people understand instinctively that in these situations it’s usually best to stick to a restricted colour palette to avoid making the room seem too confused and busy.  At the same time, however, even in smaller spaces, this can seem a bit dull, you need to strike a balance and the way to do it is to use shape and texture, possibly together with the odd pop of colour, even if it’s in a monochromatic palette.  For example, you may never have noticed that these days, you can buy radiators and towel radiators in all kinds of shapes and finishes, so you can combine function with decoration.  Likewise, you can soften a hard-wearing floor with a rug, which will add warmth and comfort as well as decoration and, of course, which you can easily wash when you need to.”

Vidalux releases new range of steam generators

Steam is one of the most incredibly useful substances known to humanity.  It can power massive industrial heating systems – or take the wrinkles out of clothes.  It can clean carpets – or it can clean the human body.  In point of fact, steam is great for the human body, offering all kinds of benefits.  Its healing and health-promoting properties have been recognized all around the world for thousands for years from the bathhouses of ancient Greece and Rome to Japanese sento to Finnish saunas.  Up until very recently, however, only the rich could enjoy the benefits of steam in the privacy and convenience of their own homes.  Andrew Ellis from Vidalux, however, is a man on a mission to change that.

Everyone should be able to enjoy the benefits of steam

Andrew Ellis is a firm believer in pushing the benefits of steam out into the mainstream.  “Up until now,” he says “there have been genuine reasons why steam has been a luxury for the wealthy.  Steam itself is simple, you can produce it just by boiling a kettle, but it’s so powerful it can also be dangerous, which is why industrial steam systems have so many safety features.  The people who build them are only too aware of what could happen if they were to malfunction or physically break.  Domestic steam generators are much closer to kettles than they are to industrial systems, but there is still a safety aspect to them, which is why it’s so important to buy them from reputable suppliers.  At the same time, technology has moved on a lot since ancient times and we’ve now reached a point where it’s possible to produce safe steam generators at a price ordinary people can afford and our new range of steam generators is our most affordable yet.”

Steam in the (lack-of-) space age

“The other barrier to the widespread use of steam in private homes,” continues Andrew Ellis “is space, or the lack of it.  It’s common knowledge that homes are getting smaller and that means bathrooms are getting smaller too and if you simply look at traditional appliances such as standard, lie in baths it can seem impossible to fit in everything you need, let alone anything you want, actually it can genuinely be impossible.  Fortunately, there is a huge variety of “new-generation” appliances which can fit a whole lot of functionality into a very small footprint.  Possibly the best example of this are top-end shower cabins, which not only contain excellent showers but also have hydrotherapy jets and steam generators and are at least as luxurious to use as any standard, lie-in bath.  The good news is that even if your budget doesn’t run to this right now, you can still upgrade your bathroom quickly, easily and affordably by retrofitting a steam generator to your existing shower or even, if you have a little bit extra space, creating a separate area for steam.  You don’t even necessarily have to give up a lot of valuable storage space because you can use seating which doubles as storage and the steam generators we offer at Vidalux are all very compact, they’re much smaller than many people think they are so they will fit in to even smaller bathrooms.  They’re also very easy to install and in addition to supplying a comprehensive and clear instruction manual, we also have staff on the end of a phone if you need any more help.”

Invest in your health

In the opinion of Andrew Ellis “Taking care of ourselves should be one of our top priorities and I firmly believe that everyone should be able to afford products which promote health and wellness.  Steam has all kinds of proven health benefits, from relieving respiratory conditions to helping people shake off common illnesses more quickly and it’s also known for its great benefits to the skin, which is why the beauty industry is so enthusiastic about it.  Investing in a steam generator is a great way to keep yourself feeling good and looking good and that, obviously has benefits in all areas of your life, from fewer days off work to having more energy to play with your children.  That’s why I’m so proud of the fact that we can produce safe and effective steam generators at prices ordinary people can afford.”

Infographic alley offers new competitive pricing on guaranteed ranking boost and exposure

 Infographic alley

“In the old days,” says Andrew Ellis of InfographicAlley, “large companies used to talk about their website as something new and exciting – and it was.  Now everybody’s online, which is great in many ways, but it can make create something of a challenge when you’re competing for people’s attention against everything else the internet has to offer.  If you’re not careful, you can wind up spending a whole lot of money for very little reward and only discover too late that if you’d been a bit more astute with your budget, you could have done a whole lot better for a whole lot less money.”

“The Pay Per Click Trap”

“For the record”, continues Andrew Ellis “I’ve nothing against PPC, not in principle and not in practice, it can still be very useful, however in my opinion it’s been rather over-hyped.  The whole point about PPC is that if a customer searches on one of your terms, you are guaranteed that your search result will be put in one of the top positions for their search and everyone knows that the top positions in a page search are the most valuable.  That’s all well and good as far as it goes, but even there the value of the position depends greatly on how much time the customer has available to browse.  PPC works most effectively when a customer is in a situation where they need a solution right there and right then and just don’t have time or inclination to scroll through other options.  Outside of those “emergency” situations, customers are far more likely to look and see at what else is on offer because by this point in time most people have long since learned that the person with the biggest advertising budget is not necessarily the person with the best offering.  That’s why organic search results can have a whole lot more credibility and these days, while SEO isn’t at all free, it can actually be a whole lot more affordable than PPC advertising, which is getting increasingly expensive.”

The Importance of Search Engine Optimization

“Here’s the great thing about SEO” says Andrew Ellis “your SEO is yours and yours alone, nobody can just outbid you for it the way they can for PPC keywords.  The reason for this is that getting to those top rankings takes effort and once you’ve hit them you can just “set it and forget it” or you’ll plummet straight back down again.  You need to keep working at it and that means regularly producing great content.  For practical terms, great content is both engaging and shareable, that means it has to entertain, inspire and/or educate enough for people to want to A pass it on to their friends and B find out more about the organization which created it.  These days you generally want a mixture of bite-sized content and longer-form content.  The basic idea is to use quickly-digested content to entice people onto your site (and/or social-media platforms) to consume your longer-form content and thus come to view you as an expert in your niche.”

Infographics were made for SEO

“Infographics are all over the net” continues Andrew Ellis “because they’re an amazingly effective form of content.  They are just made for social sharing and that’s huge for your SEO.  That’s where InfographicAlley comes in.  We offer a cost-effective way of getting your infographic out there and starting that sharing process.  Whatever your budget we have an option to suit you.  We not only provide a backlink to our site, but we can also include your infographic in our newsletter and on our social media platforms, which attract literally thousands of unique views from people who are actively looking for Infographics.  There are lots of reasons Infographicalley is hugely popular but I think there are two which really stand out.  The first is the fact that we actively curate the content on our site, so our visitors know that they’re only ever going to be presented with quality infographics and the second is that we have invested a lot in making our site easy to search as we know how bewildering and frustrating it can be to have to wade your way through a whole lot of content and we want to give our customers the best possible user experience.

Situs RERC and Urban Property Australia Announce the Release of Australian Real Estate Trends – Holding Firm in Asia Pacific

New York City, NY and Melbourne, Australia – April 13, 2018 – US-based, SEC-registered investment advisor Situs RERC and Melbourne-based advisory firm Urban Property Australia (UPA) present the April 2018 edition of Australian Real Estate Trends Holding Firm in Asia Pacific. The report explores Australian economic and real estate market trends within a global context.

For the third straight year, Australia is the third highest ranked country for commercial real estate investment in Asia Pacific, and the seventh ranked globally.

Australia joins the US, UK and Germany as the only countries with multiple cities in the top 25 for global capital cross-border flow in 2017, and total commercial real estate investment into Australia surpasses many global economies, including Hong Kong, Singapore, Canada, Spain and the Netherlands.

Ken Riggs, President of Situs RERC, says, “Cross-border and total transaction volumes did decline year-over-year, however; the fall in investment volume probably more reflects the capital constraints from China rather than diminishing appetite.”

Sam Tamblyn, Urban Property Australia Managing Director, added, “Commercial real estate investment reached an all-time high in the Asia Pacific in 2017 with growth led by activity in Singapore and Hong Kong. Expanding e-commerce and the urbanisation of Asian cities have captured investors’ attention in 2017 with industrial property investment growing by 20% over the year.”

Funmodity Announces SPECTA, The 12-in-1 Premium Machined Pen and Fidget Ball Combo

Funmodity Announces SPECTA, The 12-in-1 Premium Machined Pen and Fidget Ball Combo

Funmodity today launched the Kickstarter campaign for SPECTA, The Premium Machined Pen and Fidget Ball. SPECTA isn’t your ordinary pen, nor your ordinary stress relief tool. It’s the world’s first combination of a high-end, machined EDC pen and an aluminum fidget device, designed to provide a 12-in-1 solution that makes everyday tasks exciting and much less stressful.

SPECTA was created to provide a high-quality, robust tool that lets you fidget while still serving a useful purpose. People like to fidget; fidgeting relieves stress from work, school and everyday life, and it’s fun. But while many fidget devices offer great features for releasing energy, most of them are made of plastic, which is flimsy and relegates them to being perceived as a toy. SPECTA seeks to change that, by creating a high-quality, serious tool for both fidgeting and work.

Funmodity Announces SPECTA, The 12-in-1 Premium Machined Pen and Fidget Ball Combo

The SPECTA Pen is a premium EDC pen, sleekly machined of aluminum alloy that reimagines fidgeting with a pen altogether. Its nearly silent operation is discreet, letting you fidget without distracting those around you, and the hefty aluminum build feels rewarding and reassuring in your hand. It performs like a premium writing instrument should, with a ballpoint cartridge that writes and sketches with silky smooth precision. Concealed within the cap is a stylus, ready for smudge-free use on touchscreen device, and a stainless-steel clip secures the pen inside your pocket and prevents it from rolling off the table.

The fun doesn’t stop there. The SPECTA Ball is a hybrid pen stand and fidget device with 9 unique functions. Like the SPECTA Pen, its durable, spherical unibody is milled from a single block of aluminum, and every inch serves a function. There’s a turning top-ring bezel, as well as a retractable bottle opener that lets you fidget by flicking it open like a knife. There’s also an integrated spring-loaded silent button for fidgeting, two spinners that can spin together or independently, and a soft touch silicone knob to rub against. Inserting a ¼” hex bit into the ball transforms it into a screw driver for everyday tasks. Finally, the ball serves as stand for proudly displaying the SPECTA Pen.

“I want to create an entire of premium metal tools that provide productivity and relief stress at the same time,” says Funmodity founder and SPECTA creator Shin Feng, “and the SPECTA Pen and Fidget Ball is just the first piece in that set. It’s a big first step, and we’re excited to launch SPECTA and share it with the Kickstarter community.”

SPECTA is now available on Kickstarter with Early Bird specials starting at $50.
